split-screen racing game

So if Burnout Paradise had split-screen racing it would be the bag of chips on all that. However, it doesn't.

So, does any decent racing game? My boys play Mario Kart on the Wii like crazy and most of that is because it has multiplayer simultaneous split-screen racing. Do any PS3 games have that? And I mean real(ish) car games, not like Mario Kart.

I know madagascar kartz do and its cheap. (I know not what you are looking for, but its fun) I will try need for speed shift tonight to see if it has split screen.

Shift does not, neither did Undercover. Really sucks, as NFS used to be fun playing with actual people.
