New Sim Football Game Released

Hi all!

I noticed several of you were TPF and FBPro fans. I'd like to point you to a game I've developed called Professional Football Simulator. You can find it at http://www.barcodegames.com

The game has a solid and fast sim engine, plenty of detailed screens to help you run a team, and multiplayer so you can start online leagues! Right now we have USFL and NFL leagues running and some custom league formats as well. HTML output is included!

Head on over to the site and check out the forums. The game is constantly evolving so if you have ideas on what makes a good football sim, or what features from TPF or FBPro you enjoyed the most, let us know!

Still lookin for some online league commissioners to help with some leagues. Got 3 or 4 leagues going now that could use some owners as well.

Added CSV and Access db outputs to the game. Also support for 40 man rosters. Should allow for significant customization and site skinning for those of you with scripting language skills

I notice a download for this. Before I even attempt to download that (and while skimming the forums I didn't see an answer), is this Mac compatible? Your answer goes a long way towards letting me give you some feedback, friend.

At this time a mac version is not available. I have been working on one and fully intend for it to be Mac compatible in the near future.

For now I know of others running it in VMWare though.

Pretty major update is now in Beta. Has a 2d play display, updated game logic, and some great import and customization features to help with online leagues and with historical replay setups.

Let me know if anyone is interested... if you get a bunch of people on board for a new league I can give some significant discounts of the software.

it looks cool, gonna try the demo..... since you mentioned FBpro, do you ever plan to make a game like that? The closest was maximum football and decent attempt....

The game has some 2D graphics in it so you can see how a play unfolded, but other than that there will not be any graphics.
